Last Saturday I photographed a great wedding of Adam and Frances. I was really excited about Wollaton Hall wedding photography as it was my first wedding there. It is a great place for weddings and an amazing tourist attraction too. This location is very special for the couple. Adam had proposed to Frances in Wollaton Hall grounds and the venue choice for their wedding was obvious. Fantastic day full of emotions and I have to say, when Adam and Frances are around you can definitely tell there is Love in the air! Below image is a quick edit shot from their wedding.
Below image is from Steve and Charlotte’s wedding I had a pleasure photographing last Saturday. What a day! Great weather, fantastic atmosphere and bunch of really nice people. I was backing up all the photos and when I was looking through them I found this one. It is one of these happy images that make you smile straight away. It is of Steve and Charlotte’s daughter Jasmine, who was also a bridesmaid. When she walked down the aisle she got a massive hug and a kiss from her daddy. I just love this image and could’t stop myself from sharing it.
Last month saw me photographing wedding of Nev and Megan. I firs met the couple just over three years ago at the wedding of Megan’s sister Cate. It was an absolute pleasure photographing both weddings. I really like to be a photographer at weddings that come from recommendation. There are always familiar faces there and it all makes it special in its own way. The day started for me at McCarrolls hairdressers in Southwell. It then moved to Megan’s parents’ home for final preparations. The ceremony was at Holy Trinity church in Rollestone, the same church where Megan’s sister got married. The journey to church took less than three minutes . This time the ceremony was held by a different vicar and I was allowed to be less static during the service. It helped me to catch moments from different angles. After the great ceremony guests greeted newly married couple and they made some mess with the confetti. Then we all moved to Cockliffe Country House Hotel in Burntstump Country Park near Nottingham for a celebration. Good speeches made the congregation chuckle. With a happy mood all guests watched the first dance that took place straight after the speeches. Cake got cut soon after and it was time for me to disappear into the night.
Below there is a selection of photographs from Nev and Megan’s wedding. Great day with great people and I must say again, it was good to be there.
Below is the selection of my favorite images from Gemma and Charlie’s wedding. I first met the couple a few months before their Big Day. They loved my documentary wedding photography style and very relaxed approach. The wedding day itself was amazing. Every single detail was personalised and made by Gemma and Charlie. The Country Cottage suited their wedding well. The hotel is very cosy and full of character. It created great backgrounds in photographs. It was yet very local to where Gemma and Charlie live and also just a couple of minutes walk from the Church.
